Reiki is non-intrusive healing where the universal energy is channeled by the therapist making it easier for the receiver to restore their natural harmony and balance of mind, body and spirit, alleviating many symptoms of illness, stress, and anxiety. When you open up to receiving Reiki it will re-balance the universal energy within you to flow more freely, promoting deep relaxation and reducing stress levels. Restoring harmony to the mind, body, and spirit and enabling self-healing. It can also alleviate anxiety, diminish feelings of fatigue, and reduce aches and pains.​

During a Reiki treatment, the therapist's hands will be placed gently on or over areas of the body known as "chakras". This may cause a warming sensation in the area, but rest assured, it will not burn or harm your skin. There is no manipulation of the body or application of any substances involved in this treatment, which means it can be used alongside other complementary or medical treatments. Reiki can often energize the receiver, and it's possible to experience emotional release during or after the treatment, these responses  may last up to three days.

Reiki is typically administered while fully clothed and can be received lying down or seated, depending on your preference.
